Job Overview Environmental Services Department provides the sanitizing and cleaning as well waste processing, furniture movement and floor care for the Deaconess Health System The Environmental Area Manager will direct and control shift operations and activities to assure an aseptic, orderly, and attractive environment is maintained.

Supervises EVS representatives and team leader(s) and have functional relationship with other staff members.

Coordinates staff development to include: recruiting, orienting, training, and evaluating departmental personnel.#Continuously seeks ways to improve quality, enhance utilization, and decrease cost of services. Creates an environment for organizational performance that supports quality and safety improvements and adheres to applicable laws and compliance regulations.
