Under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor/Manager, the EVS Bio Linen Technician performs a variety of housekeeping duties related to biohazard containers, soiled linen and trash. Distributes picks-up and properly stores biohazard containers in designated areas.
Removes soiled linen from user areas and transports to designated holding areas for vendor pickup. Removes and properly disposes of accumulated trash, cleans trash receptacles in user areas as required. Supports patient room, transfer/. Discharge cleaning as needed.
Ensures that customer expectations are met. Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Work Schedule: PRN (On-Call)
Up to and including high school preferred
Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions, ability to read, write speak and understand English.
