The EVP Marketing serves as a member of the senior executive team responsible for the creation and tactical execution of the market strategy including business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; coordination with sales; and hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of marketing staff. In partnership with the executive team, the EVP Marketing establishes the strategic vision, translates the vision into meaningful and measurable goals and objectives and drives growth through inspirational leadership that is in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs and implements a "world-class" marketing organization. Attracts, develops and retains high performing employees.
Inspires a vibrant culture that engages and energizes employees.
Works effectively and collaboratively across the organization including; staff, Executive team, Board of Directors, vendors, clients, and partners.
Participates in the planning, development, implementation, and execution of strategic business goals and objectives.
Grows market positioning by developing brand, messaging, positioning and product marketing strategies.
Oversees all corporate communications.
Drives Digital Marketing strategy and execution.
Stays abreast of and makes recommendations in response to changing market and competitive conditions.
Develops strategic relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
Drives company performance and is accountable for the results. Establishes and utilizes performance-based metrics and accountability throughout the organization.
Develops and executes against a budget.
Continuously drives internal business optimization, automation efficiency, and scalability.
In partnership with the sales team, assists with the business development process to maximize profitability.
In-depth understanding of current and emerging trends in the For-Profit Education industry.
Forward-thinking and the ability to formulate effective long-term strategies consistent with overall business goals and the competitive market, as well as the ability to translate the strategy into meaningful objectives for employees.

Education and Experience:
10-15 years of proven marketing success in high growth businesses, with a deep understanding of the scaling required.
5 years of Executive Marketing Leadership (VP or CMO level)
Superior analytical skills; be able to provide examples of metrics driven marketing strategies you've implemented in the past.
