We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join our EverCommerce Payment Solutions brand to develop and deliver high quality software products to our customers. You view coding as just one of the tools in your toolbox and can put on the customer's hat to see products through their eyes. EverCommerce Payment Solutions, also known as PaySimple, is focused on delivering unparalleled value to our partners and customers through frictionless embedded payments and commerce solutions at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of payment industry experts to develop and maintain sophisticated SaaS solutions using TypeScript and Angular.

• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to define, compose, and translate requirements into functional UI components.

• Ensure application performance and responsiveness, while maintaining code integrity and quality.

• Participate in code reviews and advocate for high security and continuous improvement.

• Design and develop comprehensive automated unit, end-to-end, and integration tests.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

Must Haves:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of professional software development experience

• Excellent proficiency in front-end languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React

• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with build pipelines using tools like gulp and Angular Nx

• Working knowledge of HTTP and RESTful services, Services-Oriented Architecture, and AWS or similar cloud platforms

Nice to Haves:

• Background in e-commerce applications

• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, such as C#, Java, or Python

• Working knowledge of .NET and database development using SQL Server

• Experience with NoSQL document stores, such as MongoDB or CouchDB

• Experience with search engines, such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch

• Familiarity with techniques for unit testing, such as mocks and fakes

• Experience working in Agile development frameworks

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada, with access to our regional offices if you're based somewhere close - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The on-target earnings compensation for this position is $75,000 to $120,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
