Position Overview

Are you passionate about bringing people together and creating unforgettable experiences? If so, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Events Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience leading and coordinating high-volume small to large-scale events per year, and a strong background in event marketing and communications.

As an Events Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business impact and attendee experience. You will be responsible for developing and executing event strategies and communications plans, managing budgets and timelines, and overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.

What You Will Do

  • Event Strategy: Work closely with stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes, ensuring events meet company goals. Lead launch and status calls and present to executives/team members. Support Event Leadership in advancing the Events team's contribution to the organization.

  • Event Marketing: Develop event communications that drive attendee and sponsor registration independently and with agency support. Use Cvent software to build inviting event registration sites.

  • Event Management: Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of high-volume strategic and complex events, including local branch events, customer incentive trips, golf tournaments, small to large meetings, and conferences. Source, negotiate, and lead key vendor relationships. Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and reconciliation.

  • Measurement & Optimization: Develop and present post-event recaps and measurement scorecards. Assess opportunities for improvement and implement them.

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with event teams, field marketing, field sales leaders and key leadership positions.

  • Represent the company and brand with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Skills We Are Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.

  • 8 years of experience leading and coordinating high-volume events for 10-2000 attendees.

  • Registration website development experience, preferably with Cvent software.

  • Strong contract and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability in developing event marketing communication and creative assets.

  • Experience in operational and technical production of small to large-scale events, including knowledge of event flow, F&B, rooming lists, conference and trade show setup, AV, air and ground transportation, and attendee registration.

  • Full development and fiscal management of event budgets.

  • Experience developing tracking, measurement, and effectiveness of event programs.

  • Knowledge of sponsorship development and marketing for events.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and productivity tools such as Smartsheet.

  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 35%.

  • CMP certification preferred.
