The Events Host position requires a highly-competent, capable, adaptable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and resourceful professional that takes ownership and initiative of all activities, events, planning, sales, and total customer satisfaction.

You will interact with customers and will need to be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds. The Host must keep a level head at all times and consider that no job is too big or too small. The host must provide a clean, safe, and fun experience. Driving the "Total Customer Satisfaction" and "Proven Process" initiatives with enthusiasm are critical for this position.

Total Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensures that the facility they are assigned to consistently delivers the highest quality service possible and that our customer's experience while visiting their location provides total satisfaction.

  • All activities and decisions are completely focused on and driven by the customer's needs. Models and creates an environment in which the customer is always right.

  • End of Game'return bowling balls, bowling shoe return, give free arcade and gaming tokens for the kids and make sure that the customer receives a mindshare card.

  • Thank the guest and invite them to come back again.

  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.

  • Ability to climb ladders.

  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 20 pounds.

  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time and full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary Monday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Preferred Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Come join us and #BeCode42 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: This is an exciting role responsible for planning and executing events that directly support our company's fast growth. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for regional and field event strategy, logistics and details, travel, organizing and executing events that generate new and accelerate existing opportunities. You'll also directly impact other event programs including our annual customer conference and internal global kickoff. Additionally, you'll manage event content, event marketing kits, the marketing events calendar and various other marketing event-related tasks. You'll also have an opportunity to engage with many Code42 employees, customers and prospective customers YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: * Partnering directly with regional sales managers and teams to develop event plans that generate qualified leads and accelerate buying cycles in region. * Ensuring events are executed on-time, on-budget and exceed team/company goals and expectations. * Collaborating and maintaining strong working relationships and communications with event team, entire marketing team and other internal stakeholders, including senior leadership. * Managing event and venue logistics including set up, tear down, marketing event overviews, travel support, product demos, shipping of collateral and Code42 swag to/from events. * Supporting content creation for speaking sessions and other marketing event promotions. * Managing the creation, production and distribution of direct/indirect and promotional materials that are creative and on-brand (e.g., registration landing pages, printed materials). * Write compelling, concise marketing copy for both online and offline vehicles to support event promotions and tactics. * Documenting and improving on event related processes and best practices. * Managing regional event priorities and budgets. * Delivering detailed analysis of program effectiveness and reporting metrics as per each sales region. * Partnering with external vendors that support event needs. * Negotiate with outside vendors, contractors and suppliers to obtain most advantageous promotional and advertising terms. * Performing all other duties and assist in other areas as needed SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: * 3-5 years proven experience in B2B marketing (enterprise software, SaaS, regional marketing and/or info security experience a plus) * A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications * Ability to multi-task and switch between multiple projects * Ability to initiate tasks and work independently with attention to detail * Positive, high-energy, team-focused attitude * Self-starter who knows when to pull the right people into a project * Demonstrate ability for conflict management and problem solving * Strong oral/written communication skills * Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills * Ability to create/edit compelling, succinct and error-free marketing materials * Knowledge of basic branding concepts * Ability to initiate tasks and work independently with maniacal attention to detail * Ability to thrive in fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements * Experience with office productivity suites such as Google or Microsoft Office * Experience working in marketing automation platform or CRM systems–direct experience with Marketo and Salesforce is a plus * Must be willing and able to travel up to 20 - 40% Code 42 Broomfield CO
