In this role, you will manage the setup and breakdown of meeting and event spaces at the client site. This role is client-facing, so the technician must exhibit good customer service and communication skills while providing a high-touch hospitality-focused service.
Here is some of what you will do:
Handle set-up, breakdown, refresh, and resetting for all meeting and event spaces (tables, chairs, whiteboards, and more).
Move event furniture from floor to floor as needed according to the meeting schedules
Follow configuration specifications to ensure that furniture is properly set before client meetings
Ensures that meeting and event spaces are maintained cleanly and efficiently, well stocked, and ready
Operational knowledge of all relevant equipment within the meeting and event spaces
Respond to all meeting and event set-up requests promptly, ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service
Proactively develop and manage client relationships ensuring expected service levels are achieved or exceeded
Work with clients at all levels of an organization in a consistently professional manner
Follow safety rules and safe working practices
Performs all job responsibilities with initiative, integrity, and good judgment
Here is who we are looking for:
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in hospitality, conferencing, and event set-up is highly desired
Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Must be able to stand/walk, lift up, push, and pull to 50lbs. and up to 75lbs.without assistance for long periods.
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Schedule: Monday
Pay $15.91 - 23.07/HR
