The Event Web Builder is dedicated to a specific client for the main purpose of supporting the client's global meetings and event management strategy. This is accomplished by meeting or exceeding specific deliverables including, but not limited to, the creation and maintenance of registration websites and mobile apps, management and statistical analysis of attendee data, and technical support for event build products. This position is 100% client facing and will be located within the client's offices in Midtown, New York City.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Creation and maintenance of on-line registration web sites in line with client branding

  • Cross-train on other Cvent products used by the client especially in regard to how those products interact with the registration technology

  • Coordinate, design, and lead user training, and manage custom projects

  • Presenting solutions

  • Manage and maintain client relationships in addition to providing direction and support to client's other vendors from a technical perspective

  • Provide business intelligence and cross-meeting reporting to the event planners, clients, and vendors to support the successful execution of event logistics

  • Work together with account management and other internal employees to drive long-term success for the client's programs

  • Work flexible hours to support a global account / team (this may sometimes include other work outside the standard work day or on weekends or conference calls)

  • Some travel may be required

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Web development experience (HTML, CSS)

  • Photo Editing (e.g., Photoshop, Fireworks, etc)

  • Intermediate user of MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • 2+ years corporate experience, finance industry preferred

  • 2+ years meeting technology software experience preferred

  • Strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards

  • Strong communication skills through all mediums with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships (for all levels of an organization, including executives)

  • Proven analytical skills with consistent high attention to detail; accuracy in spelling and grammar

  • Personal integrity, initiative

  • Leadership qualities

  • Strong sense of accountability; resourcefulness in identifying a problem or process improvement and following through to implement

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a demanding environment

  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced corporate organization

  • University Degree or equivalent web design experience
