Orlando Harley-Davidson is seeking an enthusiastic individual to support in Event set up and execution.

This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing and Events Team execute events on and off-site at our three Central Florida Dealerships. Candidates must be able to attend Quarterly meetings to review the following Quarter's scheduled events. Candidate will assist with all elements of executing events including but not limited to tent, table and chair set up, understanding site maps and timelines, understanding and following a load in schedule, vendor management, take photos, host social media "live" feeds as well as sales team and client interaction. This is a social role. Those not skilled in extensive customer interaction are not encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Motorcycle license preferred, but not required

  • Previous event experience a plus

  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays

  • May require travel to offsite event locations (Central Florida/Kissimmee)

  • Ability to drive truck/trailer a plus

Physical Demands

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

  • Must have the ability to stand and work the event floor for extended periods during scheduled shift

  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift

  • Frequent outdoor work

Café and Employee Cafeteria Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for baristas and wait staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk, Jamba Juice, Hershey Ice cream, snacks and employee cafeteria, as needed. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Manage day-to-day operations of the Coffee Shop and Employee Cafeteria. * Hire and onboard new wait staff and baristas * Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment * Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, Jamba Juice, Hershey Ice cream and other ingredients) * Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses * Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers' preferences * Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service * Ensure all coffee shop and employee cafeteria areas are clean and tidy * Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct supervises team members in the café and employee cafeteria. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching team members; planning, assigning and directing work; assisting in appraising performance; rewarding team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of Hire, must be maintained on a current/valid status. Must successfully attend Company Mandatory Training programs. Must attend and complete mandatory State required continuing HACCP training. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
