What You Will Do

The Marketing Events Specialist position is key to the Trimble Owner and Public Sector (O&PS) organization's success and requires a highly organized, creative, detail oriented and motivated person to serve as lead for event planning, management, and production.

The events include our Innovate global user conference, regional and national trade shows and user groups, among others. The Marketing Events Specialist work closely with stakeholders across the organization and must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines. This individual must have a passion for event management, provide outstanding communication to our Trimble staff, vendors and overall Trimble community, be an enthusiastic professional, and be capable of building strong and positive relationships .

The events specialist will focus on creating opportunities for the sales team to engage with customers, new business, and partners while providing a great experience for attendees.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and recommend the event marketing plans, objectives, and budget and manage within those approved plans. Collaborate with the revenue marketing team on goals and messaging

• Manage events as a campaign rather than a single event - set a communication plan, design plan, key messages and strategies

• Manage event logistics including tradeshow services, shipping, staffing, and serve as primary onsite contact. Manage exhibit booth property and exhibit house

• Track, analyze and report event ROI including leads, CPL (cost per lead), CPA (cost per acquisition) and brand metrics

• Lead the event management of our annual user conference Innovate including location scouting, hotel block management, event website content, event promotion, session content, onsite end to end event management and more

• Develop an event in a box for sales to self-serve for smaller events

• Develop and administer various internal communication channels for stakeholder visibility and activation

• Create, update and manage events with planning tools, including: Monday(project management tool), Rainfocus (event registration and attendee management tool), and Marketo/Knak (email and landing pages)

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing complex events; both in-person and virtual

• Experience working with teams that are dispersed geographicall

• Experience managing international events from beginning to end

• Experience managing budgets and contracts independent

• Expert at keeping projects on time with reliable deliverability

• 30% Travel

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, similar field or equivalent is preferred

• Experience managing agencies, freelancers and/or contractor talent is preferred

• Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Drive, Docs) and Project management (Monday) are preferred
