About This Role:
This role is part of the events team and reports to the director of event operations. The Events Logistics Specialist builds strong relationships with our sponsor clients and executes sponsorship logistics deliverables and operational initiatives for Forrester's North American Forums. The candidate for the Events Logistics Specialist, Sponsorship position must be a strong client-facing, highly organized, and detail-orientated administrator with experience working on conferences or trade shows.
Act as a front-line customer success representative, responsible for fostering sponsor relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.
Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors to ensure they understand all their sponsorship deliverables and can meet the logistical deadlines for each Forum.
Collaborate with the Forrester sales team to foster relationships and upselling opportunities and solicit feedback for continued improvement and guidance for sponsors.
Create, manage, and track all sponsorship packages, inventory, and add-on opportunities for US Forums.
Manage all sponsor pre-event and onsite logistics, including deliverable fulfillment, floor plan updates, signage, catering, audio visual needs, and Forum content.
Oversee the sponsorship portal to ensure all information is accurate and available to sponsors per the deadlines.
Ensure the sponsorship website is up to date by working closely with sponsors to obtain the proper files and company descriptions.
Manage financial information for all sponsorship-related bookings and associated costs.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure flawless onsite execution.
Travel to events and provide onsite support and engagement with all sponsors.
Review processes for improvements and explore new initiatives as needed.
BA/BS degree and a strong academic record with varied undergraduate work experience.
Five to seven years of trade show coordination experience.
Good multiproject management, prioritization, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
An ability to work independently and as a valued and contributing member of a team.
Previous experience with large high-tech events (a plus).
Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Word Press, HTML, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
The ability to travel approximately 10% to 25% of the time.
