The Events Specialist is responsible for the development, management and execution of global events that support AGC Biologics' brand, business, and communication objectives, including planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of events. This position will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership. This strategic position will "manage" every aspect of events, both internal and external.


  • Provide a single point of accountability for the development, oversight, and execution of global events, which include trade/industry conferences, partner summits, networking events, educational summits and business development meetings.

  • < />fine, lead and deliver the overall event experience, including:

Develop an event brief or PowerPoint which defines business and event objectives, target audience, executional components and metrics

  • Understand messaging hierarchy and incorporate through end-to-end experiences

  • Drive impactful visual graphics and booth layout/traffic flow

  • Leverage event speaking opportunities and generate media inquiries to build brand

  • Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams

  • Develop and execute work stream plans

  • Identify and mitigate issues/escalations

  • Partner with cross-functional and cross-regional key stakeholders to ensure alignment regarding event strategy and delivery

  • Manage the event agency/agencies on all creative/production, logistics planning, registration, housing, venue(s), event tools, etc.

  • Develop rhythm of business, including internal communications and executive briefings

  • Co-establish key performance indicators and measurement

  • Oversee and manage event budgets

  • Manage, in partnership with executive teams, the executive experience at the event

  • Create pre and post event debriefs and manage event budget reconciliation

  • Build/manage event templates/processes; manage document sharing site


  • Demonstrated understanding of how to articulate a brand vision and message through events

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the discipline of event marketing with fundamental understanding of how to maximize event ROI and leverage events to drive growth for the business

  • Ability to think critically and react quickly and calmly in high-pressure situations

  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% a year (domestic and global), up to two weeks at a time, sometimes including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects/events at one time

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently while remaining a team player

  • Ability to confidently interact with executives and other senior levels of the organization to influence and gain support, input and approvals

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards all co-workers at all times, including periods of high stress

  • Must be comfortable with the ambiguity that can accompany a position in a dynamic organization.


  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, business or a related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience developing and executing events

  • Experience managing events globally

  • Experience executing events across varying audiences, segments and channels

  • Experience working cross-functionally, managing external experiential marketing partners (e.g., event production agencies, etc.), and internal stakeholders/clients.

  • Proven experience creating and managing events to drive business and brand growth

  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams and agency partners

  • Industry experience a plus

  • Certification in Tradeshow Marketing a plus.

Job Description: Our ideal QA Principal Specialist is responsible for supporting the Quality Risk Management Program by facilitating risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation measures for the Plant operations, and employing a methodical approach to applying risk assessments to Quality Systems. Responsibilities of this Role: * Contribute to the writing, coordination, review and maintenance of the Manufacturing Plants Risk Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and associated documents * Ensure product risk management documentation/files are maintained, with good documentation practices and in compliances with company Quality Systems * Facilitate planning, execution and completion of risk assessments by providing guidance to cross-functional team members * Conduct risk reviews and escalate findings, as appropriate, to QRM team * Track the status of risk mitigation actions through to completion * Track the implementation of corrective actions associated with risk assessments and verify the actions are align with source event * Responsible for maintaining the plants Quality Risk Catalog/Registry * Support the creating, revision and review of Quality Risk Management Reports * Proactively deploy methods and techniques (e.g. Six Sigma/Lean, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.) to improve effectiveness of the Risk Management program. * Collaborate to improve Quality Risk Methodologies and practices * Generates the data for Quality Risk Management Performance Metrics Knowledge and Skills Required: Basic Qualifications: 9+ years industry experience. GMP experience BS Degree in Life Science * Experience with Quality Risk Assessment facilitations and reports * Experience with performing risk assessments using a variety of tools (e.g. FMEA, PrHA, etc). * Project Management skills. * Strong computer skills with MS Office (e.g. Word, Visio and Excel) and with Quality Systems (e.g. Document Management System, Quality Management System).
