Event Security Officer

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Patrols designated areas and protects the property from illegal and inappropriate activity
Provides assistance to patrons, gives directions and answers questions regarding the property
Assists with ensuring the efficient operation of nightlife venues and events
Handles guest complaints in a courteous manner

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotes and engages guests through social media
Assists with other areas of nightlife operations, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Comfortable working in a high volume hospitality industry or nightclub
Prior experience working with entertainers, celebrities and high profile patrons
Must be at least 18 years of age

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills

Training Requirements:

Capable of interacting with the public in a highly professional manner
Ability to maintain composure in stressful or high pressure situations
Must be able to communicate via a radio and wear an ear piece

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time with frequent bending and lifting
Must be able to work in fast past environment with frequent interruptions and customer interaction
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
