The Event Sales Manager - Multi-Property will oversee their scope of responsibility for the following Central PA properties: Hollywood Casino Grantville, Hollywood Casino Morgantown, and Hollywood Casino York.

  • Secure business within the established market segments secure business within the established market segments to include, SMERF, association/membership business, group/individual sales in the state, regional, & national associations.

  • Solicit new business by resourcefully expanding account base and manage existing accounts to positively impact revenues.

  • Identify and develop new markets.

  • Maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

  • Maintain relationships and assist in negotiating and closing deals.

  • Prepares periodic sales reports.

  • Participate in community events as required.

  • Interface with other teams to develop specialties as required by the guest for functions and, participate in meetings, special trips, and sales blitzes.

  • Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.

  • Motivate and encourage team to solve guest and associate related concerns.

  • Administer and enforce all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

  • Create various reports as necessary and attend/hold regular meetings.

  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.  Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.

  • Assists clients with any problems or special requests to ensure the best personal service to meet guests' needs.

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding the monthly and annual revenue targets by generating brand-new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, direct mail, outside sales calls, networking and other community marketing techniques.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Bachelors degree (BS) in Sales, Marketing, or Business from an accredited college or university; or minimum of four years previous supervisory experience; or combination of education and experience combined.

  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage desired, but not required.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.

  • Excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills required.
