FUNCTION

This position will lead multiple dynamic projects with cross-functional teammate representation. The Event Production Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution and implementation of various special projects, including temporary builds, event setups, interior dcor and talent acquisition for special events.

The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience with an emphasis on events, temporary builds, trade shows and/or capital projects. Using PMI methodology, this positon will oversee key aspects of each project, including scope development, timeline management, project documentation and tracking, as well as internal/external communication.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages the development of project documents from project charter to project closure for temporary structures and premium areas such as Vineyard Vines, Angry Orchard and Infield Turf Suites including vendor management, dcor coordination and stakeholder communication.

  • Identifies all external and internal resources required for completing project successfully.

  • Develops and communicates detailed project management plan.

  • Collaborates with project team and stake holders to define budget and process for change requests.

  • Builds and implements project schedule, including timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; tracks progress and deliverables.

  • Evaluates progress toward objectives; determines causes for any deviations and contingency plans

  • Collaborates with project team to identify any necessary corrective actions or anticipated issues

  • Monitors and reports project status to stake holders.

  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, timeline or budget.

  • Develops and executes communication strategy for ensuring necessary information is disseminated to all levels of management within the team.

  • Coordinates with Director of Design and Code Compliance Manager to ensure safe occupancy of spaces.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university preferred

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in project management with an emphasis on events preferred.

  • Candidate should be proficient with various software tools such as spreadsheets, databases and web-applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, Visio, Power Point and other MS suite applications. Ability to learn new applications as required.

  • Experience managing projects aligned with PMI framework is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a role that understands the production shop environment. * Computer knowledge.
