Event Planner

We are seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator for a motorcycle dealership in Eden Prairie, MN.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time position (hours range from 25-30 per week, sometimes more). You will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing Director in running the marketing department, work with all departments in the store, planning and executing events, and miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Manage vehicle listings, descriptions, pictures, and videos online
• Monitor and respond to surveys/reviews
• Manage and respond to text and social media posts & conversations
• Work with photo/graphic editors to create marketing materials
• Photo/video and social media content creation
• Track marketing metrics
• Manage in store signage and displays
• Communicate with guests and co-workers via email
• Detailed computer data input
• Miscellaneous administrative duties and projects as needed
• Plan and execute community and employee Events/Activities – offsite and on site
• Riding group association outreach and management
• Monthly promotion planning & placement
• Manage outbound newsletters
• Manage internal guest-based surveys

  Basic Requirements:

• Interest in motorcycles
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be comfortable communicating with people in-person, over the phone, email, and through social media platforms
• 1+ years of marketing experience
• 1+ years of event experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Google Suite
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with teams, while also working individually

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Have experience with motorcycles
• Social media experience
• Be able to work in a sometimes slow while sometimes fast-paced retail environment, while staying on task
