Primary Function of Job:
Plan, organize and execute events, meetings & incentive trips for Lennox Industries Inc.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare and analyze request for proposals through investigation of potential locations (site visits) and meeting with third-party vendors. Often requires travel to potential locations.
Analyze and negotiate contracts with hotels, suppliers and destination management companies.
Develop and maintain budgets for each individual program. Budgets range from $300,000 to $2,100,000 per program.
Create theme, design logo and write printed materials for specific events. Booklets are created that outline all aspects of these events.
Detail logistics for all aspects of an event. Requires multi-tasking as these events follow one after the other. Logistics include (but are not limited to) rooming lists, travel arrangements, menu selection, room lay-outs, coordination of transportation and scheduling of activities.
Direct all on-site logistical coordination, including contracted travel staff and hotel employees.
This position requires supervision of various on-site personnel (i.e. travel staff, third-party vendors).
Direct supervision: although would have wide choice in selection, development, and coordination of methods within broad framework of general policies. These issues would be referred to the supervisor?
Budgetary, scheduling of programs and production issues
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years related experience.

Certified Meeting Professional
At least 2 years, but less than 5 years
This position requires a high level of focus and attention to detail working as a Team member within the Events & Incentive Department. The ability to keenly focus on the very small details of the event planning process.
This position requires a great deal of multi-tasking. Events flow from one to the next overlap often occurs
