Event Marketing: Set up, manage and execute direct marketing outreach campaigns to prospect lists Assist in defining audience segments per event, ensuring effective targeting Assist in building email marketing campaigns & landing pages within our marketing automation platform, Marketo (copywriting included) Work with the Director to meet annual ForbesLive attendee and revenue goals Build registration pages for each event incl. pricing set-up, discount codes, confirmation emails etc. Work across business groups to define & execute opportunities for live marketing, audience growth & data acquisition, across multi-channels: newsletters, partners, house ads, organic and paid social Assist in maintaining event timelines, meeting schedules, and help manage marketing process from planning through approval, and stakeholder communication Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure brand alignment and successful outcomes i.e. creative design, social, PR, content programming, production management, legal etc. Work with campaign team to infuse automation into the event marketing process including list pulls, segmentation, triggered emails, testing, etc.
Reporting & Database Management: Track and maintain event YOY analysis and weekly reporting for all events with Associate Director, Event Audience Development Assist with reporting as it relates to attribution by channel and revenue sources and use this data to optimize future event strategies Implement onsite digital surveys focused on live experience and identify future improvement opportunities Ensure accurate synchronization of Cvent and Marketo to maintain data integrity of both systems with help of database specialist
Customer Service: Help to manage multiple event mailboxes, ensure all customer inquiries are met and any issues are forwarded accordingly in a timely fashionRespond to inquiries and responses and convert prospects by email and phone accordingly. Work to create efficiencies around customer service, including integrating tools such as live chat, bots where relevant
- 1+ years experience with a marketing operations database (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, etc.)
- Strong Excel Experience Required (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas)
- Able to manage multiple projects at once, with high attention to detail
