Our members meet at our events or while travelling. They exchange trusted advice online and discuss various interests in their discussions. Members connect through our website as well as through our app (available for iOS and Android).

ASW seeks a full-time consultant in our Experiences management department, based in New York City. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Experiences team for the planning and delivery of ASW events, and the growth of the community in New York City. This position is accountable and reports to the Global Head of Experiences.

Main Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Acquiring new members
  • Increasing member renewal rates (retention)
  • Planning and executing the local event schedule
  • Gaining access to high-quality third-party events for our members
  • Hosting ASW events
  • Managing the local Ambassadors (volunteers)
  • Identifying local partners to drive membership growth and event quality
  • Maintaining the local city guide on ASW website
  • Implementing HQ projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience in similar role (events, marketing support, account management)
  • Excellent knowledge of the events industry in New York City
  • Qualifications in business and / or marketing
  • Experience / exposure to the luxury / premium industry
  • Creative, curious and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks at the same time without losing focus
  • Deliver on deadlines and attention to details
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Positive attitude
