If you are an experienced event producer, proud of what you do, and have plenty of examples of work that demonstrate project depth, complexity, and successful outcomes. You’re skilled, smart, and creative from creative event strategies, solving problems, anticipating needs, sourcing and managing Clients & vendors, hiring and supervising labor, to creating and managing budgets you have done it all. You aren’t phased by going to Plan B, managing a crisis, or putting in extra hours to handle the unexpected or meet a deadline.

You remain flexible in an ever-changing environment. You have created and managed budgets and event schedules, and you’re adept at managing teams and various deliverables. You exercise sound judgment, whether it’s drawing conclusions or prioritizing tasks, and you’re known to make good decisions.

As a successful candidate, you are able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and have experience supporting a high-functioning team. You enjoy taking clients’ visions and ideas and turning them into reality. You love event management and when you travel, you even have your travel plans on an Excel sheet (and yes, they are color coded). You are able to work under tight deadlines to produce materials based on project timelines without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities: Manage accounts and lead corporate clients. MUST HAVE live and virtual event experience with full planning of conferences, galas, corporate events, nonprofit events, holiday parties, experiential marketing, and grand opening/launch events. Direct, supervise, and coordinate multiple production of events Work closely with clients and internal team

  • Create, design, and coordinate comprehensive production budgets and schedules for each client Coordinate, source and secure, contract and manage all aspects of event production leading up to the event and event load-in / load-out

  • Define, track, manage and prioritize events team Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, assign and manage task ownership

  • Implement ways to provide continuous improvement in production process Create and lead marketing and promotional ideas to generate additional client leads and sales Negotiate with vendors for necessary event related details and costs Generate event reports and perform event related follow- up duties Generate New Business Develop new campaigns to generate sales and leads for new events Come up with strategic plan to market to the corporate companies continue to foster relationship with existing vendors and establish new ones for cross referrals and promotions Plan and coordinate local (70%) and national events (30%) Able to plan and lead a variety of events (holiday party, conference, galas, sponsorship activation, influencer events, branding events, marketing events, etc.) from conception, design to completion Ideal Candidate Qualities: Highly Organized:

Qualifications: At least 5 years of PROFESSIONAL experience in planning and working directly with clients on events at least $150K and above. PREFERRED experience with the full planning of influencer events, conferences, galas, company retreats, holiday parties, DEI events, creator events, experiential marketing, and launch events. Solid experience leading teams, “owning” projects, and managing multiple tasks/deliverables at once Working knowledge of event design and event planning concepts Budgeting and negotiation skills Effective communicator and presenter Ability to positively interact, influence and motivate client, internal team, client and vendors

  • Outstanding organization and project management skills Ability to manage the big picture and small details Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to maintain professional standards of excellence with each event produced Strong “people” skills Flexibility with hours (weekends, evenings) and comfort with travel (domestic) Commitment to delivering the highest client service standards Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc). Knowledge of software (Eventbrite, AllSeated, Monday.com, and Dropbox) a plus Demonstrated consistent high energy level and flexibility, pleasant persona coupled with sound judgment; flexible, discreet, and ability to maintain confidential information; knowledge of correct protocol for specific situations Bachelor’s degree preferred Third-Party Agency Experience is preferred Salary Range : $65,000-$88,000 BOE Location: Office in Pasadena (Hybrid Work) IMG BENEFITS PACKAGE Free Parking Company Paid National Holidays Paid Time Off Health Insurance Sick Days 401(K) Retirement Plan with Company Match Bonus
