About the Role
As a team member of the RainFocus client success organization, the Event Delivery Consultant ("DC") is critical to successful preparation, delivery and execution of live events.
As a member of the event delivery team, the DC is responsible for consulting on best practices for live events, driving requirements, coordinating across teams, designing onsite solutions and educating clients on how the RainFocus platform and hardware support event delivery.
Candidates must be collaborative, energetic team members who are capable of becoming experts in RainFocus products, industry best practices, and work well within small, focused teams. DCs are thoughtful leaders within the client success organization and go beyond by assuming additional responsibilities to mentor, train and build the consulting skill set of peers.
Responsibilities:
Analysis/Business Acumen
Work with clients to gain an understanding of live event goals
Accountability to ensure the event support plan is followed and onsite/virtual quality assurance checklists are completed
Plan and verify complete testing of onsite experiences (hardware/software)
Attend onsite events to enhance knowledge and ensure successful delivery of the event
Identify and mitigate risks to client success
Domain/Industry KnowledgeSuggest best practices for leveraging RainFocus onsite products
Learn and utilize the RainFocus event success methodology
Consult clients and internal teams on live event best practices
CommunicationCoordinate live event preparation plan with hardware/IT and logistics team members
Deliver difficult messages to client about product shortcomings and/or realities of functionality
Provide regular updates on milestones and tasks Guide successful preparation of RainFocus team members/contractors supporting events
Communicate and escalate issues/risks through appropriate channels
OrganizationBalance priorities across multiple assignments
Thoroughly track tasks and complete all assignments on time
Collaborate on internal tools, processes and templates
Technical Become an expert in RainFocus products
Set up and troubleshoot hardware in a research environment as well as an emergency live environment Identify areas for continuous improvement processes year over year for in person event delivery
Research new functionalities and solutions to find the best onsite solution for client needs
Demonstrate new functionality by researching software and hardware integration and finding new capabilities to meet client needs
Qualifications:
Experience project managing processes and/or implementations
3+ years software/hardware implementation experience highly desirable
Collaboration on creation of processes to acquire requirements for live event execution
Create and maintain training materials
Assist in training new hires and contractors
Represent product needs for the Event Delivery team in appropriate product development meetings
Client and partner consultation to drive event support best practices

Location/Travel
This role is located in Orem, Utah. This position requires the ability to travel to events anywhere in the country or world when needed. 10-15% travel is expected and a valid passport is required. The nature of the travel is being onsite at client events, which may include weekends, as well as postmortem and client-driven meetings.
