The Role
We're looking for an experienced Events Coordinator (in Los Angeles) to join our Marketing Team on a contract basis, with the hope that this will grow into a full-time role. You should bring several years of experience overseeing events in B2B, SaaS, and/or technology sector coordinating & running events and conferences. This is a unique opportunity to work for a high-growth mental health company, and have a strong face-to-face impact on our therapist customers and our organization in the healthcare industry.
In this role, you will need to be agile, passionate, meticulous and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Should be extremely organized and comfortable working cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Assist the Event Manager in project management and execution for all events including: live events conferences, tradeshows, digital events and webinars that helps deliver brand and revenue goals
Experience with conferences and tradeshows is a must - you should be familiar with using events for lead generation and/or sales (B2B, technology, or software experience strongly preferred)
Experience working with influencers, AV, live events of 200-2,000 people
Help execute conference and tradeshow presences that generate awareness, leads, product demos and trials of our core software, and to support B2B business development efforts
Experience managing budgets, invoicing, and juggling multiple vendors & expenses, experience with procurement processes, software, and teams
Research, identify and secure sponsorship opportunities and influencers to work with events relevant to business goals
Coordinate event promotion strategy with digital marketing team, and collaborate closely with our Creative teams to ensure events presence is cohesive
Communicate and manage relationships with external agency partners and vendors
Travel to events and help manage all onsite logistics, booth setup, AV / lighting / technical needs, interactive experiences or activities, and be prepared to engage directly with attendees
Coordinate all aspects of events with Event Manager: from timeline to deadlines, task management, and staffing needs, including travel and accommodations, as well as securing speakers and VIP guests
Desired Skills & Experience:
3-5 years of experience in an Events role at a B2B/technology/software organization
Must be located in Los Angeles
Strong experience in event planning and coordination, both in-person and digital
Demonstrated understanding of event marketing, event impact on sales & business growth
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong organizational and project management skills (project management tools e.g. Asana or Monday.com)
Experience with software/collaboration tools such as Google Drive/Calendar, Slack, Notion, etc. preferred
Some experience with event reporting & analytics, using Excel/Google Sheets
Experience in creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Solid aesthetic eye / creative judgment
Flexibility to travel as required by events
Hourly Rate Compensation Range
$30.00 - $35.00 hourly
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
