Essential Functions List of significant/essential duties, tasks and/or responsibilities required of this position.

Must be able to operate seven-effect Niro evaporator.

Must be able to understand dryer operation and airflow.

Follow and understand the evaporator and dryer standard operating procedures.

Keep accurate and correct records.

Have a complete knowledge of the flow of the product through the system.

Be able to make accurate connections and hook ups where needed.

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain valid milk pasteurizes license.

Pasteurize milk and milk products according to the law.

Ensure product meets USDA, state, and regulatory standards as well as CDI's standards.

Act quickly to reduce or eliminate product loss.

Must be able to conduct dryer chamber wash and dryer major.

Responsible for proper use and strength of chemicals during CIP.

Responsible for maintaining the correct moisture and butterfat in the final product.

Responsible for maintaining the correct butter fat and temperature of cream use for the manufacture of butter or for sale.

Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area.

Responsible for CCP and "Corrective Action" in Plant One.

Responsible for CCP # 103 and # 506 pasteurization controls.

Required to climb stairs, ladders and work in confined spaces.

Employee will be subject to temperatures ranging from 50 degrees F to 130 degrees F.

Must notify supervisor in the event that standards are not met.

Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area.

Responsible for all work being done in a timely fashion and done properly

Follow all company Policies, such as but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and Safety Rules and procedures.

Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors, and employees in accordance with the company policies and working rules while ensuring a harmonious and conducive work environment.

Responsible for keeping the master sanitation items up to date.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Has a current HTST and forklift operator's license or the ability to acquire and maintain required certification.

Has demonstrated the ability to run equipment efficiently.

Must have the ability to read and understand written and/or verbal instructions.

Language Skills

A well-modulated tonal volume is required with excellent diction skills needed.

Reasoning Ability

Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in certain situations.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work.

Responsible for keeping all floors, walls, machines, and pipes clean.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must possess or be able to acquire and maintain a forklift operator license.

Must possess or be able to acquire and maintain a valid milk pasteurizer's license.

Sitting/Standing/Walking Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will do all three. Must be able to stand on feet for at least a two-hour consecutive time period and up to 8-12 hours.

Lifting/Carrying: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator lifts up to 58 pounds on a repetitive basis.

He will be expected, each workday to carry 58 pounds on a repetitive basis. Occasional lifting/carrying above 58 pounds may be required as well.

Pushing/Pulling: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator frequently pushes and pulls up to, but not limited to, 58 pounds in a repetitive manner.

Bending/Stooping: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will bend and stoop often.

Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will sometimes squat. Occasional kneeling/crawling may be required.

Twisting/Turning: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will often twist and turn while carrying.

Climbing/Balancing: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will occasionally climb and/or balance.

Reaching: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will frequently reach in a repetitive manner.

Grasping/Manipulating: Each workday, the evaporator/dryer operator will frequently grasp and manipulate in a repetitive manner.

Work Environment
