EV Development Intern

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for two EV Development Interns for the summer to join the EV Performance Team in Chino, CA.

Essential Duties:

• Assist with EV Development Engineering's on the EV Range Prediction Model Calibration and Testing of EV compatibility of Public DC Fast Chargers.

• Complete independent market and customer complaint analytics through Consumer Report and Initial Quality Survey from JD Power

• Identify customer's key complaints for current EV products in the market

• Help with on-road test trips with mentor engineers for Range Prediction and Charging validation

• Route based Range Prediction Model and EV Trip Planner Functionality Validation

• Generate reports through test results and present to mentor engineers and managers for approval

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Electrical)

• Experienced in MATLAB and MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
