Overview and Qualifications

Role Summary:
The Technology Services team exists to deliver products and services to people who work to save lives and heal the sick every day.

The End User Technology (EUT) Sr. Engineer is instrumental in ensuring that quality products and services are delivered to enable every person to obtain their desired outcome, first without harm, without waste and always with an exceptional experience for each person, family, and team member.To that end, the EUT Sr. Engineer, as a member of the build team, is responsible for implementing solutions to scale, unit-testing the solution, and assisting with documentation efforts. This individual must have the ability to work on multiple complex projects and tasks independently and as part of a project team.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree; or equivalent experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree

Preferred License: Technical certifications from Cisco, Microsoft or other relevant technologies

Required Experience: 6+ years of proven, qualified and seasoned related work experience in a comparable complex, high tech and fast paced work environment. Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

High understanding of End User platforms and operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Tablets, Apple iOS devices, Printers, Wireless connectivity, Active Directory, SCCM or equivalent, encryption techniques. Experience creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a single global Microsoft operating system end user computing image, including all necessary device drivers and enterprise software

Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure, Citrix preferred.Windows scripting knowledge and experience using recent versions of Microsoft PowerShell and/or VisualStudioGeneral knowledge of all IT disciplines and technology platforms

Understand concepts of ITIL. Team Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires significant interaction with many different teams

Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills. Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance or productivity.

Must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, managers, 3rd parties, and customers as needed. Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner. Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality

Preferred Experience: IT experience in a healthcare environment demonstrating a proven project and process management skill set preferred. Advanced experience with one or more of the following vendors, products and tools; Lenovo, Cisco, Citrix, Ricoh, Symantec, Microsoft, Solarwinds, Splunk, Bomgar, Airwatch
