Our Enterprise Technology Strategy and Innovation (ETSI) practice consists of Enterprise Technology Strategy, Information Technology Service Management, Digital Innovation and Delivery, and Technology Resource Effectiveness
This is an Enterprise Architect position within our ETSI service line focused on delivering strategic IT engagements, supporting and delivering service management capabilities, executing large scale transformation projects, optimizing resource effectiveness, and helping our clients ideate and execute digital transformations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Alignment of IT strategy and planning with company's business goals.
Optimization of information management through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.
The Enterprise Architect performs overall end-to-end System Architecture and design, defines and develops the common framework, with the common functions, components and interfaces for new & existing components, features and services, for new and existing features that can be globally used.
This resource will also analyze if the new features can fit in the existing architecture and identify the re-usable components, functions and interfaces.
Architect to identify and document all technical requirements and design technical solutions utilizing enterprise architecture standards including documenting, identifying the different solutions provide multiple alternative in the architecture components and configuration and software development.
Lead the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.
Work in a variety of environments between multiple clients as needed.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership material
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work
Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services
Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the services delivered
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Data Science or STEM related field.
8 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level
Experience with Enterprise Strategy, Enterprise Operations, IT Service Management, IT Integration, or Enterprise Architecture including cloud capabilities
Experience in an Agile environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Prior relevant consulting experience required
Experience with Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing preferred
Ability to work additional hours and/or travel 50-70%
