We also provide management, enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for EDW applications as well as enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics.  9th Way Insignia is looking for an ETL Developer to join this team.  This position is contingent upon award from the government. Professional Level Information:As an Engineer 1, your duties may include assisting in the design, development, and testing project components, identifying problems and discovering solutions, working on ongoing projects based on specifications or drawings, and collaborating with teams of other engineers. CAT) Information: 

• Develops, implements, refines, and supports a data warehouse used for analytics and reporting, optimizing ETL processes while working closely with Business Analysts, Business Managers, Project Managers, and internal customers. 

• Designs, codes, runs tests, and implements complex programs and scripts, and performs source-to-target data mapping. 

• Reviews and implements project plans and business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. 

• Backs up the Senior ETL developer with providing rotational after-hours support.  The ETL Developer may be required to work evenings or weekends.  

Responsibilities: 

• Be available on government site in Washington DC Monday – Friday during normal working hours and support after-hours remotely when needed.  

• Data warehousing, Data modeling, Data integration, Data Migration, ETL process and Business Intelligence. 

• Data Modeling design, analysis and implementation - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, Data conversion, Data integration and Data Mining specialization in the area of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence. 

• Installing, configuring, developing, supporting and maintaining of the BI APPS. Environment or higher: OBIEE 12c, BI Apps.9.6.3, Web Logic Server, Informatica 9.0.1, Oracle 11.2.0.2, SQL, PL/SQL, DAC 7.8.4, TOAD, SQL* Plus, Unix, Windows XP.   

• Developing ETL’s using Informatica to facilitate Extraction Transformation and data Load from OLTP systems to OLAP systems.   

• Designing schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias and Extension tables. Building Business Model and established relationships & Foreign Keys (Physical & Logical) between tables.   

• Creating LDAP authentication to enable Single-Sign on for Users in Development environment leveraging Analytics Repository. 

• Using Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mapping using different transformations required to move data into data warehouse. 

• Providing recommendations and identifying critical issues and processing faults as it pertains to data modeling, ETLs and Informatica. 
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline, 8 additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

• 5+ years’ experience in ETL tools, especially Informatica and data warehousing applications. 

• 5+ years’ experience developing and tuning complex SQL queries in Oracle relational database. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements. 

• Prior experience in a federal data warehouse and understanding of government procedures and regulations is preferred. 

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. 

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $75,995 – $89,000 9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
