ETF Investment Management Operations Specialist

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in ETF Operations in lieu of degree; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.

• Experience in fund accounting, administration and/or custody operations, investment operations, vendor management of back and middle office functions is preferred.

• Experience with integration of new technological platforms, re-engineering of business processes, end user systems application testing and integration, and issue tracking and resolution preferred.

• Knowledge of the investment industry, including an understanding of custody, accounting, trade processing and investment operations workflows is preferred.

• Ability to develop and manage relationships between investment trading, investment operations, and fund account teams along with external service providers.

MAJOR DUTIES:

This position performs the day-to-day activities of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) Investment Management Operations. The position acts as the first point of contact for data, reporting and operational issues raised by internal or external stakeholders. The ETF IM Operations Specialist supports daily portfolio administrative tasks that are associated with ETFs.

• Assist with the daily ETF basket creation for portfolio management with review by Senior ETF Investment Management Operations Specialist.

• Remediate issues with the post-trade lifecycle for ETF basket transactions.

• Reconcile daily baskets, troubleshoot reconciliation issues.

• Approve Authorized Participant Create / Redeem order activity.

• Support ETF trade reconciliation with front, middle and back-office teams.

• Work with GIO and Senior ETF Investment Management Operations Specialist to ensure investment systems and ETF Operations tools remain operational to support Federated Hermes ETF investment activities.

• Act as first point of contact for data, reporting and operational issues raised by internal or external stakeholders.

• Participate as a project team member and collaborate with internal stakeholders as the firm continues to build out its ETF operations.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business and data requirements for systems enhancements.
