PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The ETF Analyst will be an integral part of the Capital Markets team, helping to build T Rowe Price's multi-asset class ETF capabilities. This will involve working closely with internal and external partners to design and implement new products. The role is primarily responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and surveillance of ETF Portfolios, including pricing, alignment with proxy baskets, and handling creation/redemption calls and inquiries. This role is also accountable for producing and analyzing custom reports for ETF inquiries from clients, regulatory bodies and/or the mutual fund board.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor ETF portfolios for compliance with proxy baskets, working with legal to resolve and updates to proxies when necessary.

  • Partner with Trading Analytics team to produce custom reporting to address inquiries from clients, regulatory bodies, and/or the mutual fund board.

  • Analyze primary and secondary markets to develop an understanding of the trading/valuation of proprietary ETFs.

  • Facilitate creation/redemption activities.

  • Work closely with the Portfolio Management teams.

  • Interact, develop and foster relationships with ETF market makers and AP's.

  • Support the Product Development team as it relates to Capital Markets and assist in the implementation of new products

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum requirement of an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and 2+ years of relevant work experience in the investment management industry.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, responsible, with excellent attention to detail

  • Capable of building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships

  • ETF experience, especially Fixed Income

  • Proficient in Excel and Bloomberg

  • Series 7
