Summary of Position

The position may be located in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville or Maryville, TN. This position is to join the Vendor Solutions Team. This team supports both externally hosted and internally hosted vendor applications for the following business lines: Corporate Finance/Accounting, HR, Corporate Security, Compliance, Corporate Real Estate, Records Management, Procurement, Legal, Internal Audit and Enterprise Project Services. The position will provide lead technical support per the Operational Support Guide and be available to assist the business line as they work through any vendor issues with the specific vendor. The resource will be responsible for coordinating new vendor application implementations, upgrades, scheduled releases, as well as unplanned patches. During the day-to-day activities, the technologist will adhere to change management policies and procedures and will work with vendors to comply accordingly. This position will work closely with the business line and will require business analyst skills that will compliment the technical skills previously stated. In addition, he/she must be willing and capable of learning new applications and technical skills as we expand our area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience

  • Strong Business Analyst skills

  • Sound knowledge of System's Development Lifecycle

  • Demonstrate expert technical knowledge and in depth knowledge of First Tennessee network, server, database and client configurations.

  • SQL 2008, SQL2012 experience

  • Knowledge of the following operating systems:

o Server 2008R2

o Server 2012

o Server 2016

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Banking experience is a plus

  • FT Technology experience is a plus

  • Feels comfortable when collaborating with higher IT professionals, business strategists, vendors, consultants, other technology teams, and/or business users

  • Ability to work well under pressure as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team under general supervision

  • Champions innovation from conception to implementation

  • Exposure to vendor documents such as: Request for Proposals, Statement of Work, Contracts, Maintenance agreements, etc.

Prepares and analyzes major financial forecasts. May be assigned analyses in support of organization's annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, statistical reporting, or actuarial analysis. Job Responsibilities * Prepares weekly, monthly detailed product/customer/supplier reports to support financial decisions. * Collects, analyzes, evaluates, and reports data in order to increase sales productivity * Prepares revenue forecast * Prepares in monthly revenue variance analysis * Prepares in preparation of monthly financials & financial close package * Prepares in preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budget & board presentation packages * Complete Ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary * Assists with mergers and acquisitions and capital review * Assist in the design, development and standardization of operating metric analysis * Assists with monthly financial presentations and analysis * Assists in the maintenance and reporting of operational metrics * Provides analytical support for corporate functions and operations * Manages forecasting to include detailed department level review of future cost trends * Assists CFO, Controller's office and business unit as requested with the completion of monthly and quarterly forecast, annual budget and any associated analysis * Identifies trends and makes recommendations to provide revenue enhancement, cost savings and profit improvement * In actuarial departments, develops pricing recommendations and new product designs/features to better manage business risk and opportunity. Develops complex tools, techniques, and analysis for use in decision making. Provides ongoing analysis of new products and performance trends. Develops formulas, methods, and procedures to document and support analysis. Analyzes prior pricing actions and reports out to stakeholders. Collaborates with IT to ensure product and price requirements are met. Job Requirements * BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience. * 3 – 5 years of experience in related field. * CPA/CFA license preferred * MS/MA preferred. * Strong analytical skills * Proficiency using Office and Access; utilization of JDE and Cognos preferred * Specific proficiencies or abilities (e.g. software applications, certifications, licenses, etc.) * Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately complex assignments. * Solid knowledge of organization's technologies and practices. * Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models * Ability to identify variances and trends Physical Demands and Working Conditions The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential function to this job.
