ESY Reading Specialist

At the present time, a vacancy for a summer Reading Specialist exists for extended school year (ESY) programming within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Reading Specialist certification required

• Wilson reading level 1 certification preferred

• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Applicants will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students and coordinate the student's program with the basic education staff.

Salary: (based on years of experience)

0-5 years experience= $32.00 per hour

6-10 years experience= $37.00 per hour

11+ years experience= $42.00 per hour

Dates and Hours: Dates and hours will vary by school district.

Locations: TBD within Chester County
