Our school division, PRO Pediatric Services, supports students from Early Intervention age, up to grade 12 within school districts, charter schools, and intermediate units. PRO Pediatric Services is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to provide services for ESY at local intermediate unit. Locations may include: Kingston, Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Pittston, etc.

Job Details:

• This position is for ESY beginning on June 26th
• Must have all clearances updated within the year and be able to onboard quickly
• Must travel between locations

Job Description:

• Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Administers physical therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas.
• Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills.
• Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students.
• Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
• Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
• Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
• Must be comfortable using a computer
• Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
• Current clearances (within 6 months)
