Estimator I

Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for an Estimator I to join them. You will report to the Estimating Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Estimator I opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Basic understanding of contractual legal agreements for suppliers

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience in a Buyer, Estimator or Pricing/Finance role.

• Knowledge of supplier base in the aerospace industry

• Familiarity with engineering documentation, such as drawings, specifications, bills of material and how they are used.

• Proficiency using Microsoft Products

As an Estimator I, you will:

• Loading and processing quotes in our CRM, customs apps and visual

• Evaluate and ascertain fair and reasonableness of contractor proposed costs (Government procurement only)

• Maintain accuracy of RFQ cost in Visual and Backups in CRM

• Understanding BOM building and exporting from Visual to Excel

• Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Salary Range:

• $55,000- $75,000.00/ year, based on experience
