Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the construction project process. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, pricing, and accounting costs for each project, ensuring the project's success from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the latest estimating software to create accurate project estimates and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy.
• Review drawing specifications to understand material requirements for each project.
• Perform system counts and solicit quotes from vendors for materials.
• Conduct point-to-point take-offs and draft RFIs as necessary.
• Review and verify all quotes, equipment lists, and material pricing.
• Analyze direct and indirect costs, including overhead and profit margins.
• Prepare and submit scope sheets, leveling sheets, and bid forms in a timely manner.
• Provide comprehensive proposals with project-specific qualifications.
• Engage in follow-up sales calls and lead generation activities.
• Offer value engineering ideas and cost-saving solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations to clients when required.
• Collaborate with the project management team to initiate project kick-offs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with Trimble Accubid Anywhere is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
