Estate Drivers are responsible for shuttling visitors (guests) between the Visitor Center and Nemours Mansion, and around the Nemours Estate property. Drivers represent Nemours Estate to the public in a gracious, courteous and responsible manner.

The Estate Driver interprets features along his/her route, and stops at designated stops or upon request to drop off or pick up visitors. Drivers will drive a shuttle bus, an open-air tram (weather permitting), a 12-passenger van, or a golf cart, depending on the guest(s) being transported and their respective need(s).

Essential Functions

At all times while driving a Nemours Estate vehicle, operates it in a safe, responsible and reliable manner and takes all necessary steps to ensure the safety, comfort and convenience of guests visiting and touring Nemours Estate. Stops at designated stopping-points or upon request to discharge and pick up guests.

While driving, draws upon knowledge of Nemours Estate to interpret key features along his/her route to guests in a clear, concise and engaging manner; responds to questions and comments. During times when his/her vehicle is paused outside of Nemours Mansion and/or the Nemours Visitor Center, strives to orient guests, answer questions, and address needs or concerns. While operating his/her vehicle, keeps an eye out for any guest(s) who may require assistance, inclement weather, road hazards or safety/security obstacles, or any other unusual situations and circumstances, and, as needed, notifies the appropriate member(s) of Nemours Estate Management Team and/or Nemours personnel.

Conducts a pre-/post-shift visual inspection of Nemours Estate vehicles and completes a Daily Vehicle Inspection Form for each one in service that day. Immediately, or as soon as practicable, notifies Nemours Estate manager(s) of any accidents, damage or mechanical issues involving a Nemours Estate vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must have valid commercial driver's license with clean driving record

The (CASUAL) Pediatric Radiologic Technologist will perform x-ray procedures including fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a physician with established methods and procedures, is responsible for patient care, proper operation of all general diagnostic equipment. Primary Duties * Responsible for Patient/caregiver interactions and provides accurate preparation instructions to patient/caregiver with the ability to answer pertinent procedural questions. * Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging protocols, radiation safety and a working knowledge of all radiology equipment. * Responsible for patient identification, proper identification of all images, PACS interaction and documentation. Operates hospital computer system for patient data entry and retrieval. * Must have the ability to work well with others, acts as a team member. Ability to work independently and engage in critical thinking to improve the quality of care. * Aids in the training of new personnel, students and physicians. * Ensures proper function of equipment by proper usage and maintenance. Reports unsafe conditions and incidents. * Regular attendance is required and this position is considered essential for purposes of staffing during severe weather emergencies and other natural disasters. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, must have reliable transportation and must be able to work on an on-call basis. * Good communication skills are required. In addition to accepting feedback, asking questions and active communication with counterparts and all departments. * Creates and maintains a professional and favorable impression on others by displaying competence and confidence through actions, standards of dress, composure and work performance. * Gives accurate information, asks questions and ability to set priorities as dictated by workload. REQUIREMENTS * ARRT registered or registry eligible- obtained within 1st year of employment * Appropriate State Licensure (PA , DE) obtained within 90 days of start date * CPR certification - optional * Experience with systems used in hospital/Radiology including EPIC-Radiant, PACS, Merge, PACSScan, Powershare. * Advanced knowledge of specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
