Dynetics is seeking a talented ESD and Calibration Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Performs a variety of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and calibration administration activities including but not limited to installations of equipment, testing, and verifications.
Receives detailed instructions and equipment requirements from supervisor or engineering personnel.
Oversees the installation and movement of a variety of calibration and ESD equipment.
Installs and tests a variety of calibration and ESD related equipment such as measurement and test tools, assembly tools, ground blocks, wrist strap detectors, workstation table tops, dissipative mat material and flooring.
Ensures that equipment is labeled correctly and that the performances of these activities are well documented on verification forms and in online tracking tool. Maintain accurate data entry records.
Utilizes various types of test equipment such as Multi-meters, Constant Monitor testers, and multiple Resistance test kits.
Requires a High School diploma plus (2) years of applicable measurement and test equipment or other equipment maintenance experience.
Experience with various Resistance test equipment i.e. Multi-meters, Surface Resistance testers etc is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Good electrical, mechanical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal and communication skills.
Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Ability to be mobile or on foot for the majority of a work day.
Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
