Escrow Officer is primarily responsible for establishing new escrow accounts, processing escrow transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring a service level compliant with industry guidelines, executing excellent performance and promoting "candor and respect" in all communications with escrow team, clients and management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Escrow Officer will bring/provide their own book of business from surrounding Encinitas, CA area

  • Officer will work from our office in Encinitas, CA

  • Audit escrow files and review work of escrow team

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining social media networks and participating in professional organizations

  • Provide guidance to escrow team in all aspects of escrow process, including training

  • Evaluating escrow team's performance annually, counseling for performance improvement and career development of escrow team

  • Maintain a minimum monthly volume of $15,000 in escrow fees per team member on unit

  • Enhance escrow team and Company's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Attract clients by contacting prospects; following-up on leads; explaining services

  • Accountable for meeting business production levels

  • Minimum 3-5+ years experience preferred

  • Additional responsibilities, skills, and duties may be assigned or required

The Security Officer position supports Scripps Health through the performance of duties which provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and property. Provides a visible deterrent to criminal activity and actively patrols assigned areas. Ensures policies and procedures are carried out and reports non-compliance. Responds to emergency situations and when appropriate provides guidance for the safe management of the situation, communicating with leadership as necessary. This position is full-time (80 hours per pay period), evening and weekend availability required. Required Certification/Registration: * Must possess California State Guard Card through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) by hire date. * Must possess a bondable California Driver's License. Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: * Prior security, law enforcement, or healthcare related experience.
