Amazon is looking for a smart, driven, problem solver to provide support for the evolving HR tools and systems. This role includes both project and support responsibilities.

Support responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert on one or more HR solutions utilized by Amazon including time and attendance, PeopleSoft and other systems

  • Provide process/system support, develop and maintain functional user documentation

  • Respond to system inquiries and troubleshoot reported issues, provide ongoing technical and user support

  • Build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, and communicating promptly on progress

  • Track system issues and enhancement requests for review and resolution by technical teams

Project responsibilities:

  • Assist with the roll out of new tools and systems to HR teams including execution of testing and training tasks

  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and training materials.

As an HR Business Systems Analyst, you will own and execute HR digital document management (DDM) solutions initiatives to build scale, efficiency, and customer experience. Types of projects include country expansion, new feature launches, and enhancements. You will work globally with business owners, technology, and HR partners at all levels to understand digital document strategy, requirements and timelines, in alignment to global HR and DDM objectives. You will own the relationship with our business owners to ensure their requirements are clearly captured, documented and communicated utilizing existing agile and waterfall processes. The primary tasks include understanding business needs, translating them into requirements, assessing and analyzing problem domain using available data and information, proposing and documenting solutions, testing final product against original requirements, and helping with roll-out efforts. You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. This position requires that the Business Systems Analyst also have strong functional knowledge and experience with the HCM Lifecycle. Your specific responsibilities will include: * · Deliver technology solutions – Implement global technologies and services to meet long term HR and DDM business needs; partner and consult with the business to identify and define business requirements and to initiate and prioritize enhancement, gap analysis, and prepare functional specifications * Requirements – Coordinate the collection and documentation of global business requirements, user acceptance test (UAT) plans and use cases * Executing corporate-wide initiatives – Assemble resources, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes associated with program roll-out and ongoing support keeping key stakeholders in the loop * Driving operational excellence – Drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization; build HR processes and tools that ensure a high quality employee experience as well as compliance with policies and regulations * Subject matter expert – Develop deep knowledge of the HR and DDM downstream/upstream systems utilized by Amazon, advise the business on best practices and global requirements for optimizing the use of these systems * Develop support model – Provide transition to production support for business owned rules, processes, and maintain production support documentation, design business processes and associated support structures that align with technology solutions Amazon.Com, Inc.
