TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28277 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7 PM - 7 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years required, Emergency Department experience preferred License: Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in applicable state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and CPI (within 45 days) Must-Have:
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to the American Heart Association
Ability to work effectively in a demanding emergency department environment
Strong communication and leadership skills Job Description:
Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers, following legal or policy parameters.
Evaluate progress toward the attainment of goals and outcomes.

Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
Collaborate with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.

Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must lift and support the weight of up to 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
Must have an intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
Finger dexterity required.
Must possess critical thinking and concentration skills.
Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Additional Notes:
