Position Summary/Career Interest

You should take a look at this new opportunity within our growing Enterprise Resource Planning Administration team. You will be the interface between Information Technology and the Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting and Supply Chain business groups. Standardizing, streamlining and integrating business processes and systems across these groups is vital to running a large hospital in a cost-effective, secure and safe way. You will work with a small team who are committed to work closely and care for each other in our quest to deliver the best patient care.

Responsibilities

As an administrator of the ERP systems, you will handle all things related to the technical infrastructure that drives the Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting and Supply Chain applications. While we currently utilize Lawson, you will have the opportunity to work on the project team tasked with selecting and implementing a new system, along with a project taking our Accounts Payable team into a paperless environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Serves as a Tier 2 support, triaging tickets every day (we use Remedy Ticketing System), working with end-users over the phone, via email and in-person to resolve issues.

  • Responsible for providing support, maintenance and fixing breaks within Lawson and integrations with other systems such as iCIMS and Kronos.

  • Plans and schedules system upgrades and updates, including coordination with other teams, vendors, users, interfaces and other systems.

  • Documents the technical configuration, contacts and functionality, contributing common troubleshooting tips and maintaining relevant training materials.

  • Architects, designs and implements fully automated role-based access solutions for system security pertaining to access management, regulatory compliance, system architecture, disaster recovery, vendor management and operational users to support the security and integrity of organizational data.

  • Be the Lawson/Landmark authority for design, interfacing, end-user workflow and end-to-end system knowledge, working closely with vendors to maintain working relationships and system support.

  • Perform analysis for new system support requests, using technical and functional knowledge to craft implementation plans, assist in the design and equipment required for the implementation of new systems and function as the project coordinator.

  • Works with operational teams to ascertain business needs and capture requirements for reporting solutions. Utilizes knowledge of SQL to design structure and deliver reports via SQL Server Reporting Services. Also maintains a custom schema and set of tables, views and stored procedures that drive our proprietary solutions.

  • Collaborates with operational teams, as well as information technology teams, to understand complex issues and how they can be resolved utilizing existing tools. Uses that knowledge to develop complex workflows, automation and interfacing using Infor Process Automation. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience (2:1 in a related field).

  • At least 5 years of related work experience, preferably within IT, HRIS, Payroll, Accounting or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strongly prefer experience working with SQL and JavaScript.

  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills, especially MS Excel and databases.

  • Superb communication skills including the ability to listen well, show a positive attitude and modify tone and delivery to effectively meet the needs of the customer.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

The System Administrator provides design, implementation, maintenance, and support services for server level enterprise applications and medical devices. This role will be a part of the Enterprise Imaging team which is responsible for the processes and systems related to all clinical imaging of the health system. Big projects have been indentified for this team that will revolutionize how patient images are stored and accessed across the health system. Our System Administrators are responsible for maintaining end-to-end knowledge of, assessing the impact of organizational change on, and identifying the opportunities and threats surrounding the systems they support. Systems Administration also partners with other clinical groups within the health system such as radiology, cardiology, and others for new development of systems and for any systems issues. Previous experience supporting clinical imaging systems is highly preferred. Responsibilities * Functions as a coordination point for issues related to systems between all IT teams. Act as an escalation point for issues with assigned systems that cannot be resolved in TRC. * System Support: Maintains usable systems for end-users with the ability to work with vendors or other outside resources as well as internal hospital teams to resolve system issues within service level agreements. * System Documentation: Maintains documentation on the systems technical configuration, contacts and functionality. Contributes and maintains common troubleshooting tips in the designated knowledge base. Keeps current vendor and system data owner's contact information in the designated location. Maintains relevant training materials for systems. * System Updates: Responsibilities include planning and scheduling system upgrades and updates. This also includes coordination with other HITS teams, vendors, users, interfaces, and other systems that feed or accept information from this system. This would include server as well as workstation updates. Follows department change request processes. * System Security: Protects hospital assets and information by maintaining secure systems. Follows organizational policies and processes surrounding access management, regulatory compliance, systems architecture, disaster recovery, vendor management, and others to support security and integrity of organizational and patient data. * System Integrity/Retention: Requires verification of application logs and other monitoring tools to resolve issues that could cause data integrity issues. Ensure retention periods for application data follow hospital and regulatory requirements. * System Backup/Recovery: Verifies that systems are completing a normally scheduled and approved backup methodology. Verifies that systems/data can be restored in the event of a failure or disaster. This will include the completion of disaster recovery plans (DRP) and other documentation related to disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA). * Data Entry: Maintain knowledge of applications and functional areas entering application data. May have responsibility for entering application data as required. Data entry should not include patient health information unless directly approved by management. * System Printing: Knowledge of application methods used to manage print queues and printing workflow. * Reporting: Ability to use application functionality to create, schedule, distribute, and print reports. * Interfaces: Model, design, monitor, and support system interfaces in conjunction with dedicated interface staff and other teams. Maintain documentation surrounding the flow of data between systems. * Systems/Application Knowledge: Subject matter expert for assigned systems including design, interfaces, end-user work-flow, and end-to-end system knowledge.
