Position Summary:

Reporting to the CIO and with work supervision of a Senior Project Leader, the ERP Security Administrator administers policy and procedures for system access controls for hardware and software access to university information systems. Working with representatives from functional offices serving on the ERP Information Security Team, the position defines templates for roles, class, fine grain access, data masking, and other security access levels.

Essential Functions:
1.Overall responsibility for implementation of the university's central data security, access, privacy identity theft and FTC Red-Flag policies, architecture, and procedures as they relate to electronic administrative information systems. 2. Implements daily provisioning and de-provisioning account activities and related identity management functions. 3. Working with ERP Information Security Team, defines templates for roles, class, fine grain access, data masking and other security access levels. Identifies best-fit technology, procedures, and processes that address functional office and university needs. 4. Analyzes security incidents and events and notifies Director of University Information Systems and other appropriate personnel of potential threats and vulnerabilities to university information systems. Recommends corrective action as needed. 5. Develops and implements periodic management and exception reporting to monitor system access and satisfy internal and external audit needs. 6. Performs periodic system security status checks and monitors privileged user access to university information systems. 7. Develops and delivers university IT security awareness and other related training programs for faculty and staff. 8. Assists with the development of appropriate data security policies. 9. Keeps informed of the latest information security developments and trends through reading, vendor presentations, and conferences. 10. Other related duties as assigned.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university with nine semester hours in computer programming; or graduation from a two-year college with a degree in information security, or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition to formal education, experience with fourth generation computing programming languages (i.e.

SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Project Management, Ellucian Banner Systems, Oracle database server applications, etc.), Data Structures and MS windows servers, some knowledge of UNIX server administration, Cognos, experience with Web Servers (Apache and IIS), enterprise database structure, and current Windows desktop applications. A minimum of 4 years related experience.

Considerable knowledge in computer science or closely related field is required. Extensive knowledge of the principles behind the structuring of an integrated and relational database systems.

Knowledge in software and hardware security administration. Ability to comprehend and apply new software tools, operating systems, and networking applications are essential. This position requires the ability to work closely with a wide range of people, including students, faculty and staff, possessing a wide variety of skills; requires a self-starter who has the ability to fulfill a variety of functions in a collaborative work environment without direct supervision; requires the ability to assume appropriate responsibilities while coordinating the efforts of others, requires the ability to communicate well with individuals and groups using written, oral and web-based media. The position requires good customer relation and team building skills.

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
