ERP Analyst

Application Analyst for Wake Tech Community College develops, implements and tests application software that integrates and enhances the College's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used
by staff, faculty and students.
Ellucian Colleague experience specially with development experience with Ellucian Self Service. The development experience is important. We have reviewed resumes and conducted phone interviews
with people with solid Ellucian Colleague experience but it has been from more of an administrator function. They troubleshoot the application and support installation of new modules. This is not what we
are looking for. Also note, Datatel experience from 10 years ago would not be applicable for this position. In lieu of development experience with Ellucian self-service, we'd also be interested in
candidates with solid experience in domain driven design software development.

*Maintains the ERP and related systems to comply with security standards
*Responsible for day-to-day operations of the ERP system including resolving problems and issues reported by College users.

*Designs and develops reports to meet user data requests
*Maintains a growing library of reports and dashboards
*Resolves issues and users request by implementing programming modifications to existing applications and programs
*Performs basic database administration tasks using advanced queries and data modifications
*Installing, upgrading, repairing, and implementing applications related to the ERP
Analyzing business needs and makes recommendations for modifications to the College's ERP and related systems
Manage projects during the entire lifecycle of designing, planning, implementing and supporting applications
Performs quality assurance and testing of ERP systems
Provides training and expertise to customers and junior staff members
Develops and maintains documentation of complex procedures and tasks

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of relational databases
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS environment
Hands on experience with complex programming languages
Ability to work independently and resolve issues with little supervision
Demonstrated experience in the development of technical and user documentation.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
Awareness of project management skills with ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations.
Ability to define requirements, troubleshoot and support users.
Good analytical, customer service and team-oriented interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced, highly technical environment.
Ability to demonstrate excellent technical skills.
Ability to maintain records accurately and meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements:
Associates Degree
3 Years related experience
1 Year experience administering and programming in an ERP
Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

Preferences:
Associates Degree in IT related field
Ellucian Colleague Administration and Programming experience
ITIL Foundation, ISO and/or Six Sigma certification

Job Summary Position Summary: Pentair is currently seeking a full time a ERP Analyst to be part of the JDE team with a focus on configuration and support of the costing, advanced pricing and finance modules. This person will work closely with other IT functional leads and business users to gather requirements and provide solutions using industry standard ERP best practices. This person will be responsible to support the day-to-day activities of the business. As the Pentair IT team supports multiple ERP's, this position will also need to support SAP FICO module. Duties and Responsibilities: * Configuration and support of JD Edwards World (A94) and One World Finance module. * Configuration and support of JD Edwards World Advanced Pricing * Configuration and support of the SAP FICO module * Collaborates with business and technical teams on design, development and solution management. * Leads or participates in functional and business requirements gathering sessions. * Defines and writes specifications for configuration, user exits, and custom programs. * Authors and communicates business process designs and business systems designs. * Designs, develops, and conducts test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests and system integration tests. * Interfaces with ERP and non-ERP technical teams for technical specifications and development of customized objects. * Provides support of SAP applications, including integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP applications. * Manage bugs; analyze root cause of problems and provide direction for work-arounds, corrections and enhancements. Job Requirements & Skills * Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or college. * 5+ years as JDE World & One World Analyst experience (must have). * 3+ years of JDE World experience within a manufacturing business environment. * Knowledge of JDE Customer Service module would be a plus. * Functional expertise in SAP's FICO module * Knowledge of integration between FICO and other modules within SAP * At least 3 full life cycle implementations * Excellent technical and business analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate and work well in a cross-functional team environment offsite/onsite model. * Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience, serving as a systems analyst (Lead), for large-scale ERP system implementations. * Strong customer services skills, organizational management and exceptional communication skills Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
