ER Tech, Emergency Services, Norton West Louisville Hospital, 7A - 7P

Responsibilities

The Emergency Room (ER) Tech provides basic patient care under the direction of licensed nursing and/or physician staff as assigned. Performs direct and indirect diagnostic, therapeutic, administrative, service and other tasks as appropriate to facilitate safe, quality patient care while ensuring efficient, smooth functioning unit operations. Applies knowledge and understanding of principles of patient growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients.

Norton Healthcare is committed to establishing health equity in every neighborhood, and Norton West Louisville Hospital is an example of that commitment put into action. Opening November of 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is being built at 850 South 28th Street and will offer comprehensive services, including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient care, operating rooms and imaging technology.

It will serve both adults and children. It's designed with the voice of the community in mind, and will change health care for generations to come.
