Providing adequate structure and organization to the ER/ICU floor under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Hospital Services Manager and Hospital Director
Monitor the work of the team members for accuracy and adherence with all hospital protocols.
Manage and communicates priorities with patient care team - assign specific duties and tasks.
Identify priorities and manage patient workflow.
Troubleshoot and resolve or communicate outstanding equipment issues or service/repair needs with Clinical Coordinator.
Responsible for the training of new employees and providing feedback for the input on hiring emergency RVTs/assistants and kennel staffing.
Work alongside both the Clinical Supervisors/Clinical HSM to help support the hospital scheduling including monitoring overtime and ensuring proper coverage hospital-wide for callouts/PTO coverage.
Aiding in the Clinical Supervisors additional job tasks, such as hospital wide cleanliness, controlled drug audits, unpacking inventory, etc.
Promote a productive, efficient, and healthy workplace culture.
Provide HSM and Clinical Supervisors with ER Shift Lead reports after each shift worked.
Must be able to preform the job tasks of an experienced veterinary technician/assistant
RVT preferred, but experienced assistants will be considered
College or technical school education
Past lead/managerial experience preferred
Ethos Veterinary Health
