Equity Research Associate - Consumer Broadlines & Hardlines (Evercore Isi) [Westport, CT]

What is the position? Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Research Associate to support the Senior Analyst on its growing Consumer equity research team. This position is based in Westport, CT.

Primary Responsibilities: Candidates should be ambitious, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and jointly in a fast-paced team environment. Specific responsibilities include:

• Financial and business modeling

• Drafting research reports; Industry and company-specific analysis

• News monitoring and data collection

• Responding to client and other inquiries

• Stocks include: Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Amazon, Target, and more

Specific Qualifications:

• Problem-solving & financial modeling

• Communication (writing and speaking)

• Teamwork and collaboration

• Excel, PowerPoint, MSWord required, econometric experience helpful

• Passion for businesses, equities, financial markets

• 1-5 years of experience (Research, Banking, Consulting, or Industry) or relevant internship and educational background
