Equity Institutional Research Sales Associate

Position: The Institutional Equity Research Sales team is actively looking for an Analyst/Associate for the New York City office.

Role:

• We are looking for a junior salesperson to work with several senior salespeople on the institutional sales desk in NY.

• You will be working closely with salespeople focused on supporting the implementation of our clients' investment processes with respect to global emerging market equities

• You will be engaged in account organization and maintenance including client contact information, client interaction tracking and research subscriptions.

• In addition, you will be helping clients with conferences, summits, corporate access, and ECM deals. This role will grow into writing up stock ideas and engaging with clients. We are looking for a self-starter who is motivated with high energy and a great attitude.

Required Background:

• Ability to analyze data and present conclusions concisely

• Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in aspects of work product

• A resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player

• Ability to communicate and execute concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences

• Ability to work independently and manage multi-tasks at the same time

• Series 7 & 63 licenses (or ability to pass exams)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $165,000. The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
