Citi HR Shared Services currently has an opportunity for an Executive Taxation and Cross Border Taxation Manager to work in our Tax department. This position is responsible for ensuring proper taxation of Executive Income, including Equity Compensation, Fringe Benefits and Profit Sharing. Additionally, this role will manage the operation for Cross Border taxation, including US Domestic Travel and International travel. Partnering with Corporate Tax, Global Mobility, PWC, Equity Compensation Team and HR. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of the payroll tax reporting requirements, payroll tax compliance and Year End Tax reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with PWC My Mobility Software, Tax Compliance Research and advanced spreadsheet application
Communicate, partner and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Candidate will work closely with country partners to understand full end to end Cross Border Tax process
Candidate must analyze complex tax transactions, identify issues and provide solutions.
Manage critical and time sensitive issues and work with partners to resolve and ensure in-country compliance.
Research taxation issues and work with other Citi HR Shared Service units to resolve.
Full understanding executive earnings and proper tax compliance
Manage operation and ensure strong controls to ensure executives are paid correctly.
Participate in additional project work and critical annual projects i.e. year-end, tax updates, AIP
4 Year college degree
Hands on experience in manually calculating taxes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expert analytical skills and attention to detail.
5+ years of tax compliance and tax analysis
Demonstrates advanced ability to research and analyze tax compliance requirements and components of complex tax calculations
Prioritizes work in alignment with organizational and departmental goals and acts in accordance with business strategies and policies.
Identifies, manages and prioritizes issues appropriately, working to identify and correct the root cause
Ability to operate in a team environment, working efficiently in a multi office/time zone/cross-cultural environment and countries.
Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
