We are seeking an Analyst / Associate in the Equity Capital Markets business syndicate desk. We are looking for a syndicate liaison with investment banking, institutional & retail sales, trading, compliance, accounting, underwriters, back-office, and internal & external legal counsel, procuring customized reports for each of the aforementioned groups.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on execution of various types of offerings such as IPOs, capital increases, and sell down of shares

  • Communicate with sales, research, and trading to discuss trends and investor feedback

  • Create market content for originators to use to win new mandates

  • Manage new issue deal setup process on i-Deal book building platform

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in finance or accounting in investment banking, capital markets, or trading experience; familiarity with capital markets transaction execution and process management; demonstrated interest in equity capital markets with the critical ability to maintain focused attention with a premium on accuracy and accountability

  • Ability to work under pressure, being able to make quick decisions while interacting with sales & trading professionals, investors and issuers; ability to multi-task detail across multiple deals at different points in their life-cycle

  • Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills; creative problem solving abilities; excellent communication skills

  • High energy and a self-motivator demonstrating leadership potential; you will exemplify a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

  • Working directly with senior bankers, you must have the maturity and presence to represent the Firm before management teams and other deal professionals

The Opportunity ING is looking for an analyst for the Debt Capital Markets Group in New York City. ING is further strengthening its US DCM franchise. The group works closely together with client coverage teams and other product specialists in the ING network and advises on a wide range of funding opportunities in the global capital markets. Day-to-day responsibilities will be comprised of: * Provide direct support to senior DCM team members with the aim to win new bond mandates and maximize bond related revenue * Coordinate and prepare multi-currency pricing updates * Taking the lead in the preparation of marketing materials for client meetings, preparing and presenting internal committee memos, and ensuring seamless execution through the transaction cycle * Support deal execution by means of direct involvement in the deal team (e.g. documentation and due diligence, roadshow logistics, book building and orderbook analysis) * Prepare weekly digests to be distributed internally covering topics such as fixed income markets, rates and deal commentary * Liaise with other key ING internal stakeholders (e.g. client coverage teams, other DCM departments across the globe, DCM syndicate, capital structuring & advisory, credit research, corporate sales) to identify opportunities, enhance internal cooperation and to maximize client cross-sell * Support further product development within DCM team, in particular around sustainability and green bonds but also liability management exercises and more complex bond offerings such as hybrids * Identify market opportunities by ING Bank New York NY
