The Equipment Technician will be responsible for:

  • Performing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of Neurophysiologic and Sleep Medicine equipment to ensure compliance with hospital, departmental and governmental quality and safety standards.

  • Identifying diagnoses and resolves equipment malfunctions and designs and installs equipment modifications as needed.

  • Providing routine service for equipment as needed.

  • Conducting periodic equipment inspections and prepares and maintains required records.

  • Supporting Equipment in both the Long Term Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and the Center for Pediatric Sleep Disorders.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationallyspecific education or an Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field

  • One to two years previous experience.

  • Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.

  • Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.

The Northeast Director of Equipment provides leadership for the execution of construction throughout the Northeast region. Responsibilities * Direct oversight of all Liberty Northeast Equipment & Supply's activities; estimating, pre-construction, engineering, fabrication, BIM, purchasing, project management and field operations. * Continue to build and nurture Liberty's culture and team environment. * Promote the division's mission. * Responsible for the division's long term strategy for growth, development and process improvement. * Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensure their procurement at cost-effective terms. * Responsible for the division's resource planning with regards to staffing, facilities, tools, equipment, etc. * Responsible for the division's monthly forecasts, fiscal year planning, P&L and WIP. * Direct oversight of monthly billings and requisitions. * Direct oversight of optimal equipment utilization and inventory management. * Working with accounting to ensure that all aspects of project accounting functions are complete. * Direct oversight of constructability review and resolutions activities. * Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants. * Direct oversight of all Liberty Equipment & Supply NE Staffing and Labor requirements. * Ensure compliance with quality standards. * Enforce the company's standard operating procedures. * Communicate effectively with the field staff/construction managers/clients/sub-contractors. * Monitor the progress of the estimating, pre-construction, engineering, fabrication, projected management, field operations, and innovation activities on a regular basis and hold weekly meetings with staff. * Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards. * Frequent inspections of active and future construction sites. * Mentor/train staff and provide performance reviews. * Responsible for the divisions development and the standardizing operating procedures (SOPs). * Responsible for the encouraging and nurturing creative thinking in employees across all areas of the company. * Collaboration with the other division managers/division and regions. Qualifications * Minimum of 10 years' experience working as an Equipment & Supply supplier/installer or equivalent. * Must possess Liberty's Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism and Caring. * Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred. * Knowledge of CAD and BIM Software's preferred. * Strong leadership skills. * Strong project management, cost estimating and financial skills. * A strong understanding of the importance of project safety. * Excellent communication skills. * Highly organized. * Effective time management and logical decision-making ability * Able to work well under pressure. * Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts to various construction sites. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
