Perform preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Work closely with biomed to keep other equipment up-to-date. Also responsible for maintenance of respiratory care storage areas. Maintains adequate inventory of equipment # supplies. Required Licensures / Certifications / Registrations N/A Physical Capabilities Work is light to medium, requiring a minimum amount of walking # standing a great deal of the time. Frequent bending # lifting. May be required to life object weighing over fifty pounds. Skills and Abilities Demands good hand-eye coordination.# Fine motor skills are essential to perform procedures # manage equipment.

General Job / Performance Information

  • Education and Experience

We are currently seeking a Restaurant Service Technician to join our West Texas Service team. This position is responsible for the completion of service work requests as they are received. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of repair and maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment including but not limited to HVAC, refrigeration equipment, Ice machines, WIC/F, smoothie machines cooking equipment hot side cold side equipment fryers ovens, griddles, warmers, beverage equipment, and dish machines is a plus. Will be required to work with various types of tools, gauges, measuring equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responds to Service Work Orders. * Completes major repairs and in-depth preventative maintenance. * Takes and logs readings from critical equipment and takes appropriate corrective actions before system outage occurs. * Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests. * Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * A minimum of five years of relevant work experience. A two year technical degree (or equivalent work experience) is desired. * Current Universal Refrigeration License and/or other positional licenses as required. * Hot Side equipment experience is a must have. * Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to ensure completion of work to plan in commercial building maintenance operations is required. * Good understanding of service, preventative and predictive maintenance. Intermediate level computer skills are required. * Strong math, verbal, written and interpersonal skills are desired. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Must be able to lift 80 pounds and carry it a distance of 50 yards. * May be exposed to wet slippery floors, objects on floor and various chemicals and sharp objects. * Must have the ability to remain calm in a stressful or emergency situation that arises at the work site. * Works on carpeted, concrete, wood, tile and/or vinyl floors or combination within the confines of a commercial building. * Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull and reach above and below waist. * Ability to work in damp, humid or hot conditions, coolers/freezers at freezing temperatures, moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam or refrigeration equipment, open flames and heated surfaces.
